Job Title: Unarmed Security Guard

Job Type: Full-Time

Duties:

• Perform continuous foot patrols of the interior and exterior of Snyder House, monitoring for unusual or suspicious activities.
• Operate the security post, conducting thorough checks on residents returning to the facility, including visual inspections and bag searches as required.
• Provide assistance to residents, staff, and visitors while remaining vigilant to potential security threats.
• Respond quickly to emergencies, assist in orderly evacuations, and maintain control during incidents until authorities arrive.
• Complete daily logs and incident reports, documenting security rounds, visitor sign-ins, and any unusual occurrences.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least two years of experience in security or related roles.
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure, with clear, concise report-writing skills.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and meet Pennsylvania state security requirements.
