Under direct supervision performs all work on undercarriage components in a manner that reflects the company’s vision of working as “One Professional Team.”

Pay Range: $21.00 - $32.20 per hour
Pay rate is dependent upon education and experience

Essential Functions:

• Completes service reports and other required paperwork


• Communicates effectively with Shop Manager, Shop Coordinator and Shop Leadman


• Work in a cooperative manner with other team members to accomplish the goals of the shop and the Company


• Evaluates undercarriage condition


• Rebuilds and/or reconditions tracks


• Rebuilds or reconditions track idlers


• Reseals and resells track rollers


• Removes and installs undercarriage components


• Reseal and/or reconditions recoil assemblies


• Other duties as assigned by manager

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED


• Post-secondary school preferred


• 1 year experience in the heavy equipment industry

Competencies:

• Reading/Writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skills


• Product & Safety Knowledge


• Intermediate Knowledge of DBS


• Intermediate Knowledge of ET/SIS/SIS Web/STW


• Ability to enter information into a computer and type service reports

Work Environment:

• Noise: Loud, Environment: Indoors and Outdoors

Physical Demands:

• Standing, walking. talking, use of hands, & hearing


• Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, etc.


• Heavy work that includes lifting and/or moving objects up to 85 pounds or more
