Tokio Marine HCC, a member of the Tokio Marine Group of Companies, has an exciting growth opportunity for an Underwriting Manager in the Scottsdale, AZ region.

Position Responsibilities

We are seeking an Underwriting Manager to join our highly collaborative team of underwriters.  The Underwriting Manager will manage surety business development activities, production, and underwriting within Scottsdale, AZ region.

Performance Objectives and Timeline

• During the first 30 days: Get to know the TMHCC Surety Group team, get up to speed on our systems, surety underwriting policies, procedures and philosophy, and internal resources.

• During the first 3 months: Establish and build agency relationships, manage the regional underwriting of commercial surety bonds.

• During the first 6 months and beyond: Develop business objectives, implement strategies to grow the regional surety business.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, a related field, or the equivalent education and/or experience

• Success characteristics:

This position is based in Scottsdale, AZ and requires regular onsite presence. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance or be willing to relocate upon offer acceptance.
