We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Unit Public Affairs Representative.
Job Description:
The Unit Public Affairs Representative will be responsible for promoting and maintaining a positive public image for Jonesbororealtycompany. This individual will work closely with the marketing and communications team to develop and implement strategies to enhance the company's reputation and brand awareness. The Unit Public Affairs Representative will also serve as a liaison between the company and the local community, building relationships with key stakeholders and promoting our services and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement public relations strategies to promote the company's brand and image
- Manage and maintain the company's social media presence, including creating engaging content and responding to comments and messages
- Coordinate and participate in community events, such as charity drives and local festivals
- Build and maintain relationships with local media outlets and act as a spokesperson for the company when needed
- Monitor and track media coverage of the company and provide regular reports to management
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and distribute press releases, newsletters, and other promotional materials
- Serve as a point of contact for any public inquiries or concerns, and address them in a timely and professional manner
- Stay informed on industry trends and developments, and make recommendations for improving the company's public image and reputation
- Assist with crisis communications and manage any potential negative publicity
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences, networking with potential clients and partners
- Other duties as assigned by the marketing and communications team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in public relations, preferably in the real estate industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and experience managing social media accounts for a business
- Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with media outlets and community stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of crisis communications and experience handling sensitive or negative situations
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
