Job Overview:

As a Unit Public Affairs Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and maintaining a positive image of Jonesbororealtycompany to the public and media. You will be the face of our company, representing us in various community events and activities, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement public relations strategies to enhance the company's image and reputation

Plan and coordinate community events, sponsorships, and partnerships to increase brand visibility and awareness

Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and manage media relations

Create and distribute press releases, media kits, and other materials to promote the company's services and achievements

Monitor and analyze media coverage and provide reports to management

Manage the company's social media presence and engage with followers to increase brand awareness and engagement

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels

Identify and address any potential PR crises and manage the company's reputation in a timely and effective manner

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in public relations and corporate communications

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or a related field

Minimum of 2 years of experience in public relations or corporate communications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong understanding of media relations and experience in managing media inquiries

Experience in event planning and coordination

Proficient in social media management and analytics

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong organizational and project management skills

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

Knowledge of the real estate industry is a plus
