Upholsterer

Minimum starting salary for an upholsterer is $20 and based on experience could be more.

Business at Davis is thriving! Sales are up, so we are actively seeking highly skilled and experienced craftsmen for our upholstery division. To meet the continually growing demand this candidate will have to cover frame parts with pre-cut and sewn cloth, vinyl, or leather material, pulling material tight by hand to prevent wrinkles, and staple frame with pneumatic staple gun. There is little room for error in our fast-paced environment, so we are looking for someone with at least 5 years of contract furniture upholstery experience. 

  Requirements:

• Must be 18 years old
• Must be able to read work orders
• Must be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds consistently 
• Must be able to consistently pull and tug to create wrinkle free product
• Must work well with others 
• Must be able to listen to directions and follow them from managers and other team members
