Job Description - Upstream Associate IIl - 12hr. Rotation Shift (Days)

Work Schedule

12 hr shift/days

Environmental Conditions

Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Cold Room/Freezers -22degreesF/-6degrees C, No contact lens allowed; prescriptive glasses will be provided, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)

Job Description

Compensation: $33.00 – $34.00/hr

Shift Schedule: 12-hour rotating shift (2/2/3 rotation), 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, including weekends and holidays

A Day in the Life:

  • Perform manufacturing operations in alignment with cGMP standards

  • Demonstrate safe work habits and adhere strictly to safety procedures

  • Participate in Tier 1 meetings and support team readiness

  • Maintain GMP Kanban to support production flow

  • Spend the majority of time (80–90%) on the manufacturing floor

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production goals

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and tech transfer activities

  • Identify and implement process efficiency improvements


Keys to Success:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required


Experience:

  • Proven knowledge of cGMP

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely

  • Ability to maintain sterile credentials and work in a cleanroom environment

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

  • Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and pharmaceutical equipment


Physical Requirements / Work Environment:

  • Ability to gown aseptically/sterile as required

  • Vision abilities including near, far, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment

  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods

  • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouching

  • Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift in a 24/7 operation, including weekends and holidays

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $23.02–$34.25.
