Patient Demographics: Adults & Pediatrics
Average Daily Volume: 36-48 patients
Case Mix: Urgent care, pediatrics, minor procedures

FACILITY INFORMATION

EMR System: Epic
Office Equipment Available: X-ray, EKG
Support Staff: MA: 1, Office Staff: 1

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: No
Temporary Privileges Available: No

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: BC/BE in FP/IM/Peds/ED (ABMS or American Osteopathic Board only)
Licenses: Active MO or IMLC
Certifications: BLS
Experience: Residency trained; BC/BE within 5 yrs of residency; minimum 50 patient encounters in last 12 months
Other Qualifications: EMR proficiency (Epic preferred), comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints), reading EKGs and X-rays.
Willing to work 12-hr shifts

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide urgent care services to patients of all ages presenting with minor injuries and illnesses.
Perform minor procedures including suturing, wound care, incision and drainage, splinting, and casting.
Interpret diagnostic studies such as X-rays and EKGs.
Work collaboratively with medical assistants, radiology technicians, and other support staff.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic EMR system.
