Urgent need - Travel MRI Tech in Pittsfield, MA with $3200 Weekly Gross

Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking Travel MRI Tech for a travel contract position in Pittsfield, MA.

Position Details:

Position Name: Travel MRI Technologist 

Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts

Contract Length: 13 weeks 

Pay Rate: $3200 Weekly Gross pay based on a 48-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: Imaging Department 

Shifts available: Nights

Schedule: 40 hours/week guaranteed, 5 x 8-hour shifts, Mon-Fri, No weekends, On-call as needed

• Current MRI Tech experience: 2 years - Required
  


• GE Equipment experience - Required
  


• MediTech Expanse experience - Highly preferred
  


• Prior travel experience: Highly preferred
  


• Must have own transportation 
  

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

• ARRT (MR) - Required
  


• BLS Certification from AHA  - Required
  

Job Description:

• Perform a wide variety of technical MRI procedures, requiring independent judgment and ingenuity.
  


• Operates magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines to create detailed images of the body’s internal structures. Responsibilities include preparing patients for scans, operating equipment, and ensuring patient safety during the process.
  


• Practices infection control and body substance isolation in clinical practice in compliance with departmental and hospital policies and OSHA standards.
  


• Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
  


• Equipment: GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0
  


• Ratio: Approximately 9 patients/shift
  


• Traveler will always work with another Tech Aide or another MRI Tech, they will never work solo.
