Lewiston Motor Company is looking for a motivated and strategic Used Vehicle Buyer / Acquisition Specialist to help us aggressively grow our pre-owned inventory. This role is responsible for sourcing, appraising, and purchasing quality vehicles from multiple channels including auctions, online marketplaces, service drive opportunities, and direct consumer purchases.

Responsibilities:
Source and acquire quality pre-owned vehicles from auctions, private sellers, online marketplaces, and dealership trade networks
Evaluate and appraise vehicles accurately using market data and vehicle condition
Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure competitive purchasing strategies
Purchase vehicles that align with dealership inventory needs and profit targets
Build relationships with wholesalers, auctions, and private sellers
Work closely with sales and management teams to maintain optimal inventory levels
Follow all dealership purchasing policies and procedures
Maintain proper documentation for vehicle purchases
Qualifications:
Previous automotive experience preferred (sales, appraisal, wholesale, or buying)
Strong understanding of used vehicle values and market trends
Ability to negotiate and close vehicle purchases effectively
Familiarity with auction platforms and online vehicle marketplaces is a plus
Strong communication and organizational skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
