Utilities Control Room Operator

Location: North Chicago, IL - ONSITE

Contract: 6-12 months duration with the potential to go from contract to hire

3rd Shift: Work hours; 7pm -7am, 12-hour shifts.

Automated Systems, Inc. is seeking a Utilities Control Room Operator to take on a contract role with one of our pharmaceutical manufacturing clients located in North Chicago, IL.  In this role, you will be monitoring critical utility infrastructure. Under general supervision will oversee and monitor plant utilities such as water, steam, compressed air, liquid nitrogen, electrical power, and HVAC.  

Job Responsibilities:

​

·       Monitor equipment for performance and alarm conditions

·       Troubleshoot problems with utilities and partner with maintenance staff to resolve issues

·       Operate and participate in startup, maintenance, and shutdown of utility equipment

·       Perform all necessary quality checks

·       Complete required documentation in a timely and accurate manner

·       Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase platform performance

Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements:

​

·       Minimum of a high school diploma or GED

·       Military experience a plus

·       Experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred

·       Mechanical/technical experience in manufacturing or related fields preferred
