ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a highly motivated, team-oriented Utility Infrastructure Improvement Field Technician to join our Bridgeport, WV office. If you thrive in a fast-paced outdoor environment and bring a can-do attitude to every task, we want to hear from you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work in all outdoor weather conditions year-round across residential, commercial, and industrial areas
Perform extensive on-foot fieldwork, including walking, navigating varied terrain, and carrying objects up to 20 pounds
Communicate effectively with property owners and internal and external stakeholders
Use technology tools for data collection and a telescopic fiberglass measurement stick to accurately measure clearances on utility poles
Collect field data and maintain accurate daily and weekly reports
Travel locally, statewide, or regionally as required
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Education: High school diploma or GED required
Experience: Minimum 1 year of outdoor work-related experience
Software: Experience with Katapult Pro highly desired
Technical knowledge: Knowledge of pole design including NESC requirements and general safety practices a plus
Physical ability: Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs on a regular basis
