Utility Laborer

Position Title:  
General Laborer

Pay Rate: 
$19.85/Hour

Physical Location: 
Atlanta Container (Forest Park, GA)

The Job You Will Perform: 

• Follow all safety rules and practices
• Read factory work orders, print cards, and other documents to learn customer requirements
• Identify stock and products that correspond to work orders
• Perform assigned duties to insure that production needs are met
• Assist other associates as needed
• Accurately using tape measures and other measurement and test equipment
• Inspect, count, stack, and unitize products according to customer specifications
• Identify and segregate nonconforming (reject) products and materials
• Accurately complete time sheets, reports, lists, and other records
• Keep the supervisor informed of any problems and/or unusual situations
• Maintain work areas to plant standards of housekeeping
• Maintain teamwork with machine crews and other associates
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors to support shipping and warehouse operations.
• Applicants must be willing to work alternate shifts, weekends, and daily overtime as required.

The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring: 

• A high school diploma (or GED) is required. One to two years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is required.
• Experience in the corrugated or converting industry is preferred but not required.
