Utility Worker- Transit Buses

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Utility Worker to join our client's team and support their transit bus operations. This role is vital in ensuring vehicles are well-maintained, fueled, and ready for service at various times throughout the day. The Utility Worker will report to the Operations Management team and assist with light vehicle maintenance and inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Maintenance Department and Technicians with vehicle cleaning, fueling, light repairs, and facility upkeep.
• Perform routine fluid checks and basic vehicle seat repairs as scheduled.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, promptly reporting any unsafe conditions.
• Accurately document time, materials, and tasks completed.
• Assist technical staff with automotive repair and maintenance as needed.

Skills & Physical Requirements:

• Strong multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with problem-solving abilities and effective prioritization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds, climb stairs, and stand for extended periods.
• Additional skills and physical demands may apply.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of janitorial or auto detailing experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• A valid CDL is required.
