As our full-time Vascular Neurologist, you will be integral to the operations of a world-renowned stroke neurology team at CommonSpirit Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. This exceptional opportunity offers outstanding prospects for a fellowship-trained vascular neurologist interested in working in a high-volume practice at the forefront of the field of vascular neurology. Every day you will contribute to one of the largest and most organized stroke referral networks in the US, leveraging our strong neuro hospitalist, neuro interventional, and neurosurgery components, all unified under a single, highly collegial Institute of Neuroscience. Your work will typically involve a 7-on/7-off schedule, with the flexibility to focus primarily on the stroke service or to share your expertise between acute stroke and general neurology services, emphasizing both stroke diagnosis and secondary stroke prevention. For those interested, opportunities to be involved in the outpatient stroke clinic and even work towards a leadership position within the stroke program are supported, alongside robust Research & Innovation through the Chattanooga Center for Neurologic Research and the Neuroscience Innovation Foundation, and extensive collaboration with CommonSpirit Health's national neuroscience program and partners like Baylor St. Luke’s in Houston, TX and Barrow in Phoenix, AZ.
To be successful in this role, you must be Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in neurology with a fellowship in vascular neurology, bringing a passion for advanced stroke care and a drive for continuous improvement.
