Work Hours for Vehicle Inspector/CR Writer

• Full-time
• Monday - Friday 
• Occasional Saturday
• Start time is 7am or 8am
• End time is 5pm or 6pm

Key Responsibilities of Vehicle Inspector/CR Writer

• Review inspection data, checklists, and vehicle photos to prepare condition reports.
• Document vehicle damage, wear, repairs, and discrepancies according to company standards.
• Ensure reports meet quality and client requirements.
• Communicate with inspectors and team members to resolve discrepancies.
• Complete 20–30 reports daily while maintaining accuracy.
• Assist with Post-Sale Inspections (PSI) and arbitration duties on sale days as assigned.
• Perform other duties as needed.

 Qualifications of Vehicle Inspector/CR Writer

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some automotive or related skilled labor work experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to interpret inspection data and vehicle condition information.
• Proficient with reporting software and digital platforms.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Work may involve indoor/outdoor auction environments and varying weather conditions.
