• Greenpoint Veterinary Care is a privately owned brand new veterinary clinic that is looking to be a positive experience for both pets and their owners. We truly believe that if our employees are happy it will make for a great work environment which will make for happy clients and pets. We are looking for a veterinarian (licensed in the state of NY) who can bring leadership and positivity to the team.

• You will have two hours worth of breaks a day (4 - 30 minute blocks on 10 hour days)
• We want you to feel like you are a part of something, not just working somewhere. We will value your input in our systems, routines, and have regularly scheduled check-ins to make sure we are doing everything possible to keep you and your job as stress-free as possible.

• Our goal is to provide the best care to our clients' beloved pets since they are a part of their families. We are strong believers in wellness plans to help everyone in the community afford wellness care for their pets. We provide care to a few rescue organizations as well to give back to the community.

• Expectations:
• Communication with clients is key
• Perform routine surgeries on dogs and cats
• Work up and follow treatment plans for medical cases
• Be a team leader as well as a team player

• Benefit package includes: loyalty bonus, health insurance, continuing education allowance, retirement plan, significant employee discount.
• Paid time off: 3 weeks a year - can roll over 1 week a year for a max of 4 weeks per year
• Position is for 3-4 days a week,
• 10 hour shifts on weekdays (3 days) - Thursdays are 7 hours
• 4 hour shifts on weekends (1 day).
