Veterinary Assistant - Emergency

At VCA Orange County Veterinary Specialists, we are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our Swing Late Swing and Overnight Emergency Team.

Location: 3021 Edinger Ave, Tustin, CA 92780

Salary: $20 - $ 28 / hour

Schedule: Full-Time, Swing, Late Swing or Overnight, 4-day, 10-hour shifts

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Physical examinations and patient assessment

• Anesthesia monitoring

• Surgical preparation and assisting

• Dentistry

• Radiology

• Laboratory work

• Venipuncture

• Catheter placement

• Pharmacy

• Patient recovery

• Client Communication

• Compassionate care of our hospitalized animals
