Veterinary Assistant - H

Westside Animal Hospital is seeking self-motivated, outgoing, friendly, enthusiastic team players for two entry-level positions. The responsibilities of the position are chiefly performing janitorial, maintenance, and cleaning tasks (65%), with secondary duties of caring for hospitalized animals and assisting the veterinary technician staff (35%).

Required is a keen attention to detail and cleanliness; our hospital maintains a high standard of sanitation and organization. Experience in a veterinary or closely related field is preferred. Appropriate candidates must thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment with a strong aptitude for multi-tasking, initiative, and independent productivity.

The hospital hours are 7:30am-6pm Monday-Friday, and 8am - 3pm on Saturdays. The work schedule is approximately 35-37 hours per week including a least two Saturdays per month.  Reliability and consistent attendance required.
