Some of our CVT Job Responsibilities:

• Follow handbook guidelines while mentoring team on same guidelines
• Perform IV catheter placements, Venipuncture, and Cystocentesis
• Calculate doses; Administer and fill prescription medications accurately
• Obtain digital radiographs, including dental radiographs
• Analyze urinalysis, fecal flotations, blood smears and cytologies
• Efficient animal restraint (including fear free techniques)
• Surgical prep; anesthetic induction; anesthetic/surgical monitoring; surgical recovery
• Perform dental prophylaxis and dental radiographs
• Maintain detailed and accurate electronic medical records
