Veterinary Technician

We are looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician with experience to join our team here at Thomasville Animal Hospital to be a part of our Small Animal treatment area. We have a great group of employees that work well together and we are looking to add to the family.

Job Requirements:

• License


• exceptional animal handling skills


• experience in a veterinary office


• excellent character


• exceptional work ethic


• ability to lift a moderate amount (40-50#)


• Saturday morning availability on rotation

Our doctors wish to have highly trained and skilled technicians to utilize fully to better their medicine and service. On-the-job training is available as well as online courses to further your education and abilities with room to be promoted. Job Duties:

• assisting our small animal veterinarians in the treatment of patients


• dental cleanings and exams under anesthesia


• monitoring anesthesia


• surgical instrument care


• assisting veterinarian in surgery


• client education


• in-patient care of patients in ICU
