We're looking for a compassionate, dependable, detail-oriented Veterinary Technician or Assistant who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced practice and is committed to delivering outstanding patient care.

Position Overview

As a Veterinary Technician/Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting our veterinarians and ensuring our patients receive exceptional medical care and comfort throughout their visit.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and medical procedures


• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed


• Perform laboratory testing, including blood work, urinalysis, and fecal examinations


• Prepare patients for surgery and provide pre-operative and post-operative care


• Monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures


• Safely handle and restrain animals during examinations and treatments


• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records


• Clean, maintain, and sterilize veterinary equipment and instruments


• Provide care for hospitalized patients


• Assist with inventory management, including receiving, unpacking, and stocking hospital supplies

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience as a Veterinary Technician, Veterinary Assistant, or in a similar role


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment


• Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask


• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine passion for animal care

Pay: $21.00–$27.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 34–38 hours per week

Schedule

• 6–10 hour shifts


• Monday through Friday


• No weekends


• Shifts are scheduled within our operating hours of 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Applicants should be available to work shifts during these hours.
