• Excellent Patient Care - The right candidate knows that attentive, compassionate care for each patient and connecting with each client allows for the most successful outcomes. Veterinary Technician will be responsible for technical assistance in the pre- operative, operative and post operative flow through. This includes admitting patients, administering analgesia, shaving, and prepping surgical site, assisting the surgeon as a scrubber and/or inducing and monitoring anesthesia assisting with instrumentation maintenance and end of the day clean up.
• Team Spirit – Successful candidates for this position will work well in a team environment, prioritize tasks, and have excellent problem solving, time management, and communication skills.
• 1-2 years experience in a surgical environment
• Licensure/credentialing (RVT, LVT) or ability to acquire within 6 months required
• Fear Free Certification preferred
