Pay: $78,000.00 - $95,680.00 per year

Location: Lexington, Kentucky — this is an on-site, hands-on role offering direct exposure to industrial equipment and customer environments, with travel and occasional overnight trips as needed.

Note: Current ISO or ASNT Vibration Analysis CAT II certification and 2+ years of vibration analysis, rotating equipment reliability, or closely related rotating equipment maintenance experience are required.

Job Description

  • Perform vibration analysis, condition monitoring, and troubleshooting on motors, pumps, gearboxes, fans, compressors, and other rotating equipment
  • Conduct route-based vibration data collection, analysis, trending, and reporting
  • Identify developing equipment issues and provide practical recommendations for corrective action
  • Troubleshoot motor control systems including VFDs and soft starters
  • Use industry-standard vibration analysis software and platforms to evaluate asset health
  • Prepare clear, actionable reliability reports for customers and internal teams
  • Partner with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to improve equipment performance and reliability
  • Work safely in active industrial plant environments and access equipment as required
  • Travel to customer locations, including occasional overnight travel

Qualifications

  • Current ISO or ASNT Vibration Analysis CAT II certification required
  • 2+ years of vibration analysis, rotating equipment reliability, or related rotating equipment maintenance experience
  • Working knowledge of motors, pumps, gearboxes, fans, compressors, and other rotating assets
  • Familiarity with motor controls, VFDs, soft starters, and industrial electrical systems
  • Experience with vibration analysis software such as CSI or Emerson strongly preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, reporting, and communication skills
  • Ability to lift 40+ pounds, climb ladders, and work safely around industrial machinery
  • Willingness and ability to travel, including overnight trips
