As a member of a larger team, Visitor Experience Associates are responsible for creating a positive, enthusiastic people-centric environment to welcome, anticipate and exceed the needs of all who visit the Museum Campus with the hope of creating lasting impressions and inspired connection.

Successful VEAs are approachable, comfortable initiating, able to adapt with guest flow (high volume vs quieter and more focused), capable of pivoting and flexible in adapting to changes
based on Museum needs.

The Visitor Experience Associate role is a unique and highly visible position, serving as both a professional steward and caretaker of the Museum’s exhibitions, embodying the Sarasota Art Museum Mission and furthering its vision, while assisting with Museum visitation, membership outreach, educational programming and special events.

Job Description

Duties and responsibilities listed do not describe all position functions. VEAs may be assigned other duties, and Visitor Experience roles may evolve as do the needs of the Museum, Members and Visitors.
