Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
ï· IT support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft's core business applications,
as well as virtual environments built on Citrix, Microsoft, and VMware Design,
implementation, and support services for Microsoft related technologies: Windows
Server, Exchange, File Server etc.
ï· The use of VMware technologies to design and maintain our virtualization
infrastructure utilizing best practices.
ï· Experience with setting up iSCSI /Fiber SAN, replications and new VMware
infrastructure setup.
ï· Experience in Setup LAN/WAN network including Vlans, switch stacking, redundant
firewalls.
ï· Engineer and implement system solutions for customers using technologies that meet
their needs Implement and support disaster recovery solutions Technical services and
support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, switches, firewalls,
and security.
ï· Remote access solution implementation and support: VPN, Terminal Services, and
Citrix System documentation and consulting services to include system reviews and
recommendations Communication with customers as required: keeping them
informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages
ï· Support of VMWare, EMC, Data Domain, etc.
ï· Keeps abreast of new technologies and principles by conducting research, attending
seminars, educational workshops, classes and conferences; reviewing professional
publications; establishing networks; participating in professional societies; conferring
with representatives of contracting agencies and related organizations.
ï· Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.
ï· Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field plus five (5) years’ work
experience in Virtual Environment with a strong background in Networking. A VCP
certificate required. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must meet all
knowledge, skills and abilities. No felony, theft or stealing convictions. Must be able to
successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation,
obtain and maintain gaming license. Navajo preference.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
ï· Knowledge and experience with VMware , vCenter and VMware 5.5 & up
ï· Knowledge and progressive experience with Windows 2003/2008/2012, Active
Directory domain and Exchange preferred.
ï· Knowledge and experience administering MS Windows systems required.
ï· Knowledge and industry certifications (MCP, MCSA, or MCSE, Vmware VCP,
CompTIA, CISSP, LPI, Cisco, etc)
ï· Knowledge and experience with Cisco Firewalls.
ï· Knowledge of all Server Operating Systems.
ï· Knowledge of types of Network Equipment.
ï· Knowledge of design of WAN/LAN.
ï· Knowledge of business English, proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation, and basic
arithmetic.
ï· Skill in operating various word-processing, spreadsheets, and database software
programs in a Windows environment, specifically Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
ï· Skill in planning, organizing and coordinating information technologies and prioritizing
work activities in accordance with established goals and objectives.
ï· Project management skills.
ï· Skill in analyzing problems, projecting consequences, identifying solutions, and
implementing recommendations.
ï· Skill in budget preparation and administration.
ï· Skill in preparing, reviewing, and analyzing operational, technical and financial reports.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is may be required to sit for
prolonged periods, walk; stand; use hands for dexterity of motion; stoop, bend, kneel or
crouch, and have normal auditory and verbal communications skills. The employee must
occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
Work is generally performed in an office setting with a moderate noise level. Occasional
work is performed in a Casino setting with exposure to second-hand smoke and a
moderate noise level. Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required. Tight time
constraints and multiple demands are common. Travel may be required.
