VNS Victim Notification Analyst

The VNS Victim Notification Analyst provides daily strategic, administrative, and analytical support to the VNS program manager. This role requires a strong understanding of federal victim notification requirements, attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage recurring data and reporting taskings within the FBI's and DOJ's approved case-management environments. Top-Secret clearance is required.

Location: FBI Headquarters, Washington, DC

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily strategic, administrative, and analytical support to the VNS program manager
  


• Become a subject matter expert (SME) for the VNS platform and Sentinel in relation to Victim Notification, AG Guidelines, and VSD Policy
  


• Develop and maintain SOPs of duties and/or program processes with oversight by the VNS program manager
  


• Complete daily data file and weekly reporting taskings
  


• Develop, set up, maintain, and retrieve organizational files and records in Sentinel, VNS, and SharePoint
  


• Enter data, maintain information, and manipulate/create reports for specific tracking purposes (statistics, project status)
  


• Generate reports, evaluate data, and make recommendations/summarize trends for supervisor review
  


• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, communicating with appropriate tact and discretion
  


• Provide training and support to clients to ensure understanding and ability to operate the system independently
  


• Maintain awareness of and implement updates as program processes change or evolve
  


• Effectively deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders
  


• Assist in the development of new processes and procedures to streamline efficiency

Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship required


• Active Top Secret security clearance
  


• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (four years of relevant professional experience may substitute)
  


• Minimum of two years of experience in a professional work environment
  


• One year of experience using MS Word and MS Outlook
  


• One year of experience using MS Excel, including spreadsheet creation, data entry/auto-fill, sorting/filtering/freezing panes, worksheet management, Text-to-Columns, and the Concatenate function
  


• Experience prioritizing projects, with strong problem-solving, research, and attention-to-detail skills
  


• Ability to work effectively with others and strong interpersonal skills


• Ability to utilize critical thinking skills to complete assigned tasks with minimal oversight

Preferred:

• Experience and proficiency building and updating Microsoft SharePoint sites in a professional work environment


• Prior experience supporting federal law enforcement, victim services, or a comparable case-management environment

Salary range: $60,000 - 70,000 annually

The salary range for this position represents the anticipated hiring range. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and potential contract funding.
