POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the daily operations of the volunteer and food pantry program, including community service workers for Tulsa SPCA. This position includes, but is not limited to recruitment, development, retention, and management (scheduling and recording) of all individual and group volunteers including those assigned to community service. The person in this position is expected to enhance community engagement through the planning and volunteer staffing of off-site events. The Volunteer Coordinator will be expected to work closely with all departments within the organization to ensure program satisfaction while meeting the mission and vision of Tulsa SPCA. This job classification has been designated as a safety sensitive job classification in accordance with the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act, 63 O.S., § 427.1 et seq., (OSCN 2019), effective August 29, 2019.

FT position, schedule Thursday- Monday, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. Weekends are required. Evenings and holidays will be required at times.
