VP of Engineering

Grapevine is looking for a passionate Vice President of Engineering to join our Technology Team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and building of new product features by working with the Operations and Product Team. In addition, you will be responsible for managing the execution of the designing, developing, testing, and installing of product updates.

Responsibilities:

* Recommend changes, enhancements and expansion of the engineering process framework.

* Manage the engineering pipeline

* Oversee the engineering team to ensure all deadlines are met and technical needs of the business are being met

* Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.

* Lead testing phases as necessary

Requirements:

* 8+ years working on large scale web applications

* 4-5 years building mobile-first web applications

* Expert using SASS and OOCSS

* Experience working with jQuery

* Exposure to at least one MVC framework

* Understanding of version control (we use git)

* Bootstrap3

* Preferred: Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
