Vice President of Finance — Casino / Integrated Resort

On-site | Reports to CFO or GM/President | Exempt

Summary

Senior financial executive for the property (or regional portfolio). Owns financial strategy, planning, accounting operations, internal controls, and gaming regulatory compliance. Partners with the GM on casino, hotel, F&B, entertainment, and ancillary P&L. Typical span: Accounting, FP&A, Payroll, Revenue Audit, Purchasing/Warehouse (if assigned), Drop & Count, Cage & Credit.

Core responsibilities

• Annual plan, multi-year and rolling forecasts; capital and ROI analysis


• Gaming and resort performance: hold/drop, slots/tables, player reinvestment, occupancy/ADR, F&B margin, labor


• GAAP close; GL, AP/AR, fixed assets, revenue, payroll


• Financial packages and variance analysis for GM, ownership, and board


• MICS/SICS, Title 31 / BSA / AML, KYC, cage/credit standards


• Internal controls documentation, training, and testing


• Primary finance contact with the gaming control board / commission


• External audit, tax, banking, insurance; material contract review


• Lead and develop finance department heads in a 24/7 cash-control environment

Required

• Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or related field


• 10+ years progressive finance leadership; 3+ years Director/VP


• Casino, gaming, or integrated-resort finance in a regulated jurisdiction


• GAAP, high-volume cash operations, gaming regulatory reporting


• Ability to obtain and maintain a key gaming license; age 21+


• Strong Excel and executive presentation skills

Preferred

CPA/CMA and/or MBA; multi-property or multi-jurisdiction experience; openings or acquisitions; Title 31 or cage/credit ownership; union labor planning.
