This position will be based in the Charlotte, NC HQ; hybrid work policy model.  

All About the Role:

The Vice President of Sales – Independent Retail Channel is responsible for leading the overall commercial strategy and performance for the channel, translating company objectives into actionable sales and growth plans. This leader will drive alignment across Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, Operations, and Finance to ensure execution against business priorities and long-term strategic goals.

The role carries full accountability for channel performance, including revenue growth, forecasting accuracy, profitability, market share, and customer partnership development across the Independent Retail business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership, coaching, and development for the Independent Retail sales organization.

  • Lead succession planning and talent development across the Dealer organization.

  • Own channel performance across all product categories, ensuring achievement of corporate and commercial objectives.

  • Drive accountability for key business metrics, including Units, Net Sales, Contribution Margin, ANSP, Product Mix, SG&A, and promotional investment.

  • Develop and execute profitable growth strategies through forecasting, demand planning, and financial partnership.

  • Lead and develop Regional Directors/Managers focused on volume growth, pricing, mix optimization, and new product introductions.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Merchandising to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives.

  • Collaborate with Customer Marketing on advertising campaigns, digital initiatives, promotions, and customer experience strategies.

  • Analyze market trends and competitive activity to strengthen Electrolux’s position within the Independent Retail channel.

  • Lead overall P&L management for the dealer business, balancing growth and profitability objectives.

  • Represent Electrolux Major Appliances at trade shows, industry events, and buying group meetings.

  • Ensure sales strategies and execution align with broader company objectives.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive Sales and/or Merchandising leadership experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience with direct responsibility for developing and leading high-performing teams.

  • Proven experience managing complex customer relationships, strategic negotiations, and large-scale business portfolios.

  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L performance, forecasting, and growth strategies.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive organizational alignment.
