Warehouse Assistant

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Inventory & Warehouse Management

• Maintain an impeccably organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment, ensuring all door sections, hardware, springs, tracks, and specialized tools have clearly designated, accessible locations.


• Receive incoming shipments with high accuracy, inspecting for damages, verifying quantities against packing slips, and systematically stocking inventory according to established standards.


• Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and promptly report discrepancies or low-stock items to the Warehouse & Purchasing Manager.

Job Staging & Logistics Support

• Accurately gather, stage, and prep all necessary door sections, tracks, springs, and hardware for next-day residential, commercial, and wholesale installation jobs prior to crew departure.


• Coordinate the safe transport of product, tools, and materials between company warehouses and storage areas.


• Prepare, organize, and double-check outbound wholesale and local customer orders for pickup or scheduled delivery.


• Safely deliver products to customers on a set weekly schedule.

Fleet, Equipment & Facility Maintenance

• Maintain warehouse equipment (forklifts, tooling, and hand tools) and report any maintenance needs.


• Manage facility upkeep, including general maintenance, organized recycling, and safe garbage disposal to maintain a hazard-free workspace.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment


• Adherence to high ethical standards and core values, with a genuine commitment to conducting business with integrity


• Proficient in various computer software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook


• Ability to lift 75 lbs. and move heavy objects


• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
