Warehouse Associate I

trueCABLE is searching for a Warehouse Associate I to assist with the operations of our distribution center in Kansas City. You’ll help build the trueCABLE logistics by working with a hands-on warehouse manager to develop safe and accurate direct-to-customer shipping procedures. The ideal candidate has warehousing experience to include third-party shipping, receiving and operation of material handling equipment. trueCABLE is setting itself apart by focusing on customer service, so a passion for delivering a great customer experience is required. The Warehouse Associate I role is trueCABLE’s entry-level warehouse position. Warehouse Associate I employees will work with the Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Lead, and Warehouse Associate II employees to complete batching, picking, packing and shipping of customer orders, helping prepare outbound Amazon FBA transfers, and keeping accurate inventory data through cycle counts. They must be able to work quickly and accurately under time constraints, while maintaining a positive attitude.

Core Job Duties:

• Maintain active and professional communication on Slack with all trueCABLE Employees when needed


• Manage and organize work email daily 


• Manage a clean, safe and organized work station 


• Work as a team to keep the warehouse clean and organized


• Conduct daily safety inspections on power industrial equipment


• Create picking batches in PVX warehouse management system


• Accurately pick batches using carts, forklift and orderpicker


• Accurately pack, stage, and ship orders using WMS Platform


• Accurately batch, pick, stage, and schedule pick ups for LTL Orders


• Accurately batch, pick and stage Will Call orders


• Assist Warehouse Associate II Employees with stacking, labeling and wrapping FBA transfers


• Accurately complete inventory cycle counts in PVX warehouse management system

• Must have the ability to obtain and successfully pass trueCABLE certification on all powered industrial equipment within the first 3 weeks

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in warehousing and distribution is preferred, preferably in e-commerce distribution


• High School Diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.


• Forklift experience preferred


• Order Picker powered industrial equipment experience preferred


• Reliable transportation is required


• Employment is contingent upon passing a pre-employment background check and drug screen, and maintaining a drug-free status for equipment operation.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry and maneuver heavy material or equipment (up to 75 lbs.)


• Ability to work in a position that requires prolonged standing, frequent bending, stooping, twisting and reaching


• Ability to work in a position that requires working at heights between six feet to eighteen feet off of the ground while wearing proper personal protective fall arrest equipment.


• Ability to regularly talk, hear, and see
