Warehouse, Blanking and Material Handler

POSITION SUMMARY

Prepares various raw materials for production by cutting or shearing to specified blank size. Physically handles and moves incoming and outgoing raw materials using material moving equipment such as fork lift trucks and pallet jacks. Store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from warehouse, or storage yard. Assists with verifying physical inventory on hand.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

•  Physically handles raw materials, placing into appropriate storage racks, pulling materials as needed to support production operations.
•  Prepare raw materials for production, according to job traveler and production schedule.
•  Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, or other areas as directed.
•  Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to production areas or shipping area, based on information from job traveler.
•  May assist as requested in verify raw materials on hand, inspect for damage, reporting damage to supervisor.
•  Performs production work in Fab, Finishing, Shipping & Receiving and Packaging as directed by Supervisor.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience: One to two years related experience

Computer Skills Has the ability to use the Company's business software system for time keeping and job assignments.
