Warehouse Helper

WAREHOUSE HELPER

We are seeking a hard working helper to support our daily business operations. In this role, the Warehouse Helper will work with a variety of teams to help load and unload shipping and deliveries. This role often requires driving our large company vehicles to make deliveries directly to job sites in the Greater Philadelphia area.  In addition, this role requires helping with the housekeeping of the warehouse, updating inventory logs, assist in team lifts, and running general errands.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments in and out of the warehouse.


• Assist team with warehouse tidiness and safety precautions. 


• Stock materials and organize warehouse inventory.


• Complete errands and general tasks in the immediate geographical area. 


• Complete deliveries of large items in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Required Skills  

• Must have experience driving large pick-up trucks, vans, and similar vehicles. 


• Drivers license in good standing.


• Ability to obtain a DOL Medical Certificate for driving clearance of larger vehicles

Preferred Skills 

• Commercial Drivers license preferred but not required.


• Experince in a warehouse preferred but not a requirement to apply.

Physical Requirements

Consistently Required: 

• Walking, standing, bending, or twisting 

Frequently Required: 

• Bending or twisting, kneeling, crouching, stooping, and crawling. Working with various chemicals 

Occasionally Required: 

• Working with arms raised over head. Max carries 75lbs. Push/pull 40-75lbs.  Exposure to hot and cold temperatures.  Working from or on ladders.  Working at heights.  Exposure to high sound levels.  Operate motorized equipment.
