Warehouse Lead

Join our shipping and receiving team and use your previous knowledge to help guide the shipping department to success as a Lead in the department. Properly prepare product for shipment according to specifications and/or customer requirements. Transport material internally. Execute standard procedures and assist logistics team to fulfill tasks on time, every time. Provide ideas on how to improve processes in a strong continuous improvement environment. Assist to build a best-in-class service culture by driving positive customer satisfaction.  We offer a full benefits package that full-time employees are eligible for on day 1. This role is Monday-Friday 10a-6:30pm with overtime possible on Saturdays. 

JOB DUTIES:

• Transporting material in the shipping department


• Picking and packing orders utilizing an RF scanner


• Operating stand-up reach forklift


• Ensure zero product delinquency


• Focus on continuous improvement


• Execute standard procedures


• Scheduling workflow 


• Directing associates into a variety of job duties


• Overseeing department functions under the supervisor 


• Training/coaching employees in the department

YOU MUST HAVE:

• 2+ years of experience in shipping and receiving


• 2+ years of experience operating a forklift


• 2+ years of experience using a RF scanner


• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role


• Basic computer skills
