Warehouse Lead

Responsibilities:

· You will ensure daily work activities for the shift team are done efficiently and effectively to meet customer demands

· You will be responsible for directly training and assisting with day-to-day operations within the warehouse as well as monitor employees’ productivity and coordinate daily work activities

· You may operate warehouse equipment which may include forklift and reach trucks

· Required to train employees on safety, processes, and workflow within the warehouse

· You should be able to utilize a Warehouse Management System

· You will participate in assigned training programs and adhere to all guidelines

· You will communicate with co-workers to ensure a consistent team environment and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

· You will provide feedback through side-by-side coaching and on-the-job training and comply with all FST Standard Operating Procedures and Policies

· You will perform and assist with additional warehouse functions as needed and due to business needs

· You will be held accountable to comply with all defined business process and the utilization of all technology platforms, as defined by FST

Requirements:

· Take ownership of your Duty to Communicate all required and relevant information to necessary people, departments, and customers

· High School or equivalent education

· 1+ year of experience in leadership or related experience

· 2+ years’ experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics

· Must possess strong interpersonal skills in dealing with customers and employees.

· Ability to use good judgment and think quickly and rationally in difficult or stressful situations

· Clear verbal communication skills and ability to give and follow written and oral instructions

· Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work as well as concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously

· Ability to work independently and make responsible decisions

· Able to stand, walk, bend, push, reach and do repetitive motion for extended periods of time

· Ability to work in a variety of temperatures (warm and cold)

· Regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
