Warehouse Supervisor

Quaker Valley Foods is looking for someone who can roll up their sleeves, work hard, have fun, and get the job done! We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations/Warehouse Supervisor to join the Team. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Day-to-day oversight of warehouse operations while leading a team of associates.
• Executing shipping/receiving responsibilities safely, productively, and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure operations run smoothly so we can ensure the product is received, processed, stored, packed, and shipped properly.
• Supervise all phases of warehouse operations including loading operations and material handling activities.
• 50% of the shift will be spent on the warehouse floor directing staff. 
• Supervise, evaluate, and train employees assigned to the warehouse.

YOU HAVE:

• Proven record of monitoring employee productivity and accuracy to ensure efficiency. 
• Support compliance with all appropriate policies, procedures, and rules. 
• Ability to oversee a demanding environment.
• Maintain a positive, purposeful work environment in the Warehouse.
• Three to five years of supervisory experience in an automated distribution warehouse
• Use computer and warehouse management software to log, track, and report data

• Ability to work a flexible schedule; including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong collaborator and leader with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines 
• Ability to select, coach, develop, engage, and retain a team of employees
