Warehouse Supervisor

Role: Warehouse Supervisor

Shift: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $25 – 28 an hour

Job description

• Supervise and lead a team of warehouse associates, assigning daily work, monitoring productivity, and ensuring operational goals are achieved.
• Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, replenishment, and inventory movement.
• Monitor workflow throughout the shift, balancing labor between departments to meet productivity, quality, and service level expectations.
• Assist with monitoring web, warranty, and retail order processing through the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
• Coordinate with transportation providers, including FedEx, UPS, USPS, OnTrac, and other carriers, to resolve shipment issues and maintain on-time performance.
• Ensure shipping and receiving operations are completed accurately and efficiently while maintaining inventory integrity.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, accuracy, quality, and on-time shipping, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct routine quality audits to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and company standards are consistently met.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members through ongoing training, performance feedback, and cross-training initiatives.
• Communicate daily priorities, operational updates, and company initiatives between management and warehouse staff.
• Promote and enforce a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and warehouse procedures.
• Maintain accurate operational records, reports, and documentation to support inventory control and performance analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, increase productivity, and reduce operational costs.
• Lead by example while fostering a positive, collaborative, and accountable team environment.

Skills and qualifications

• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Team management skills
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of collaboration tools
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Experience with WMS systems preferred.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of warehouse supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in e-commerce, retail, or distribution operations is a plus.
