Warehouse Utility Lead

Lead Utility – Fort Smith

Employment Type: Full Time
Position Overview: Know all aspects of the Shipping and Warehouse department including responsibility of Inventory Accuracy and Control
Essential Job Functions:

• Must be able to perform ALL shipping and receiving tasks without supervision, including scheduling pickups.
• Responsible for putting away all incoming materials, physically and in the computer system.
• Responsible for pulling all raw materials for order demand.
• Perform scheduled cycle counts and monthly inventory.
• Must be able to professionally answer emails within the organization always demonstrating respect, thoroughness, and with a Customer First effort.
• Must practice safe working in all aspects of the job.
• Accuracy and Attention to Detail are highest priority including daily paperwork processing.
• Maintaining a clean work area at the end of every shift is important
• Having initiative for “How else can I help?” is critical since shipping can be an ebb&flow department

Non-Essential Job Functions: Other responsibilities not required to successfully do job

• Helping the cutting department to prepare work for the sewing department.
• Help gather completed orders from the shop floor
• Other duties as assigned

Training:
On the job.
Qualifications:
            Education & Certifications: High School diploma
            Experience: Minimum of 2 years working in a warehouse environment
Key Competencies: Dependability, teamwork, collaboration, always hustling, flexibility, initiative, organizational skills, communication, attention to details, computer accuracy.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit or stand for duration of the day and walk frequently.  Able to lift 40 lbs.
Working Conditions: Warehouse & production environment with constant background noise
