WAREHOUSE YARD TRUCK DRIVER- 3rd SHIFT

SUMMARY

Perform duties outlined below in addition to assisting functional areas when available.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Will handle the movement of trailers from the yard/door location to a yard/door location.


2. Perform general processes, including picking parts, receiving parts, packing parts, and putting parts in storage locations.


3. Adhere to general safety requirements.


4. Operations of equipment including yard trucks fork trucks, picker trucks, and reach trucks.


5. Other duties as assigned by the Executives of Aurora.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


2. Familiar with industry part numbers and warehouse processes.


3. PC and basic computer knowledge.


4. Attention to detail and task completion.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT

1.  Strong work and safety ethic.


2.  Be able to operate, or experience operating, a Yard Tractor or Tractor/Trailer, be comfortable with backing/maneuvering trailers in size from 28’ to 53’ or willing to be trained.


3. Ability to work in high traffic/limited space environment.


4. Positive attitude and team building skills.


5. CDL is not required.


6. Bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.


7. Generally limited exposure to physical risk.


8. Comfort with working at elevated heights.
