Warranty Administrator

The Ray Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Dealership located in Fox Lake, IL is hiring a WARRANTY ADMINISTRATOR to replace a long time employee due to retirement. Owned and operated by the same family who have been located in Fox Lake for the last 25 years. Ray always strives to stay ahead of the competition and differentiate from other dealerships by taking different approaches to the car business and always having customer satisfaction as the priority in every decision made. 

We are seeking a Warranty Administrator to work with Service Management to improve our customer focused processes

Responsibilities:

Prepares, records, and submits warranty claims to the factory and/or distributor and reconciles them accordingly.

  Processes warranty claims on a timely basis.

  
  


• 
  

  Check each repair order against the vehicles service history to avoid duplicate claims

  
  


• 
  

  Resubmits all rejected claims promptly 

  
  


• 
  

  Processes all warranty paperwork, ensuring proper documentation and verifies criteria required by Stellantis

  
  


• 
  

  Assist service consultants in closing all open warranty RO's

  
  


• 
  

  Follows up on payment of outstanding claims.

  
  


• 
  

  Files and maintains all service records as required by the manufacturer

  
  


• 
  

  Keeps informed of all factory recalls and bulletins.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintains all service and customer records as required by Stellantis.

  
  


• 
  

  Performs other duties as assigned.

  
  

Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 
  

  Ability to work Monday-Friday .

  
  


• 
  

  At least two years of experience in a similar position, and knowledge of automotive parts and service.

  
  


• 
  

  Reynolds-Reynolds Experience/ Knowledge of Chrysler FCA Warranties

  
  


• 
  

  Must be willing to submit a background check prior to employment & Drug screen

  
  


• 
  

  CDJR/Stellantis experience is highly desirable
