Wash Technician

Job Summary:
As a Wash Technician at Mazda of Clearwater, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our vehicles for our valued customers. This is a full-time, hourly position located in Clearwater, Florida. This role requires a skilled laborer with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $15, paid biweekly. In addition, you will be eligible for benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off.

Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly wash and detail vehicles according to dealership standards

• Use proper cleaning techniques and tools to avoid any damage to vehicles

• Inspect vehicles for any damages and report them to management

• Maintain and organize the wash area and equipment

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow

• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns and answering questions about the vehicle cleaning process

• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times 

Carry out additional tasks as directed by the Senior Automotive Detailer or the Service Manager.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
• Familiarity with various cleaning products and tools
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
