Waste Tech

• Minimum experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or janitorial work.
• Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting a plus.

The Waste Tech is responsible for removing and properly disposing of various waste types, including solid waste, regulated medical waste, and recyclables, from designated areas throughout the facility. They ensure waste is separated correctly and transported to the appropriate disposal locations. Additionally, they assist with general cleaning tasks, maintaining a clean and sanitary environment by following established cleaning schedules and protocols. Responsibilities are carried out in alignment with Tampa General Hospital's mission, vision, and values.
