Lake Havasu City is seeking a motivated and dependable Water Utility Specialist I to join our Water Production team. What You Will Do
As a Water Utility Specialist I, you will perform a variety of skilled maintenance and operational duties, including:
•    Inspecting, maintaining, and repairing water production facilities
•    Operating equipment such as dump trucks, backhoes, tankers, forklifts, and other utility vehicles
•    Repairing and replacing pumps and maintaining booster and reservoir stations
•    Performing preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment
•    Assisting with site maintenance, including painting, weed control, and facility upkeep
•    Using computers for work orders, email, and equipment documentation
•    Following strict safety procedures, including confined space entry, lockout/tagout, fall protection, and ladder safety
•    Wires electrical panels; maintains panels in working condition by checking caps, breakers, transformers, generators, fuses, wiring, overloads, starters, etc.
•    Basic experience with hand tools, construction, maintenance, or repair work, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
•    Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors

Minimum Qualifications
Candidates possessing the following at the time of hire are highly desirable:
•    Arizona ADEQ Grade 1 Water Treatment or Grade 1 Water Distribution Certification
•    CDL Class B with Tanker Endorsement
•    High school diploma or GED

The selected candidate who does not possess the required certification will be considered a TRAINEE at the time of hire.
