  • PAWC Lake Scranton Transmission Main Rehabilitation - Evaluation and rehabilitation of a leaking 48-inch transmission main within a 4,300-foot mountain tunnel. Recommended and delivered sliplining with a 42-inch HDPE pipe, restoring reliable service, reducing operational risk, and minimizing community and environmental impacts

Responsibilities of the position will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Manage and execute a combination of water, wastewater, and green stormwater infrastructure projects. Projects will include a variety of planning, design, and construction phase work

  • Manage multidisciplinary design teams of planning and/or design engineering projects, supervising and coordinating several assignments simultaneously

  • Establish and periodically review scope, schedule and budgets for projects and review progress against a baseline

We invite applications from candidates with the following experience:

  • B.S. degree in civil, environmental, chemical, or mechanical engineering is required

  • M.S. degree in civil or environmental engineering a plus

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in water, wastewater, and/or stormwater-related projects

  • PE or ability to obtain within one year in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is required

  • A successful candidate will be a self-starter with ability to lead and manage people and projects

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective presentations and prepare written reports and documents

  • Strong technical skills and technical leadership experience, preferably in water or wastewater linear infrastructure, AutoCAD Civil3D, and green stormwater design

  • At least one year managing projects, including management of project budgets, schedules, staff, and client interface
