Welder

Position Summary

We are seeking motivated welders and welder trainees to join our manufacturing team. This position is ideal for individuals who are dependable, safety-minded, mechanically inclined, and interested in building a long-term career in welding and metal fabrication.

Successful candidates will work on a variety of custom fabrication projects, producing high-quality weldments and assemblies while collaborating with experienced tradespeople in a team-oriented manufacturing environment. Experienced welders are encouraged to apply, and motivated candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn will be considered for training and development.

Responsibilities

• 
  

  Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, or other welding processes as required by project specifications.

  
  


• 
  

  Fit, fabricate, assemble, and weld structural steel, plate, pipe, and custom metal components.

  
  


• 
  

  Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and work instructions.

  
  


• 
  

  Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and project specifications.

  
  


• 
  

  Operate welding equipment, fabrication tools, overhead cranes, grinders, cutting equipment, and other shop equipment safely and efficiently.

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare materials for welding through cutting, grinding, beveling, cleaning, and fitting operations.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform basic layout, measuring, and material preparation tasks.

  
  


• 
  

  Work closely with fabrication, machining, and assembly teams to complete projects accurately and on schedule.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while performing routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.

  
  


• 
  

  Follow all company safety policies, welding procedures, and quality standards.

  
  


• 
  

  Participate in hands-on training and skill development under the guidance of experienced welders and supervisors.

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  Previous welding, fabrication, metalworking, vocational training, or skilled trades experience is preferred but not required.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core, or other welding processes is a plus.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to read or learn to read blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.

  
  


• 
  

  Basic math, measuring, and mechanical aptitude.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to safely lift materials and work around welding, fabrication, and industrial shop equipment.
