Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations using TIG (GTAW) as well as electric resistance, oxyacetylene, plasma-arc, and other approved welding processes.
• Weld metals and alloys of varying thicknesses, configurations, and specifications using proper technique to meet quality and structural requirements.
• Select appropriate welding electrodes, filler metals, and consumables to ensure proper penetration, fusion, and weld integrity.
• Fabricate, assemble, modify, or repair metal products and structures based on blueprints, layouts, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to company and industry standards.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding tools, TIG equipment, and related machinery.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and engineering personnel to meet production needs and deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Welding certification preferred (TIG certification preferred).
• Minimum of two (2) years of welding experience, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of welding materials, equipment, and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
