Welder/Fabricator

Description

ENTEK is seeking applications for multiple Welder/Fabricator roles to join us on-site at our Lebanon, Oregon location (relocation within 40 miles of Lebanon is required).

As a Welder/Fabricator, you will work with different welding techniques such as TiG and MiG welding to weld a variety of metals. You will also perform tube and pipe welding MS and SS. In this role, you will be responsible for building simple and complex fabrications based on prints such as tanks, frames, and material handling equipment from 16-gauge sheet metal and up to 1” plate.

You will also work with other machines such as an ironworker, saw, drill press, shear, and press brake, and checking your work using scales, square, template, or samples to ensure it matches the drawing, and deburring all parts.

Individuals invited to interview for this role will be required to perform a weld test, which may include 2G and 3G positions on mild steel and stainless steel; MIG, TIG, and fluxcore; 14ga, 10ga, 3/16"; and/or on 3/8" and 1/2".

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One (1) year of experience in welding and metal fabrication environment.
• Ability to TiG weld and MiG weld to build simple and complex fabrications to prints.
• Satisfactory results from a drug screen and fit-for-duty screen
• Satisfactory results from a pre-employment fit-for-duty screen and a drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with all fabrication equipment listed in job summary.

Working Environment

The hours for this role are Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

This role requires working 8-hours shifts, spending the majority of the work shift on their feet. This role requires the incumbent to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Incumbents will complete tasks that require finger dexterity, reaching, handling of materials and equipment, talking, hearing, and near and far sight. At times the individual in this role may be required to kneel, stoop, and/or crouch. The role may require the employee to work near moving mechanical parts, and may occasionally expose the employee to fumes and/or airborne particles. This role required the incumbent to wear eye and hearing protection. Hearing and eye protection is required at all times while on the shop floor.
