Aspen Waste Systems of Minnesota, Inc. is seeking an experienced and qualified Welder/Fabricator to join Aspen’s container shop in Eagan, Minnesota.

Aspen Waste Systems is a privately-owned, growing company providing waste and recycling collection services for commercial and residential customers in the Minneapolis metropolitan area.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00/hour.

What you’ll do:

• Welding/fabrication and repair of a variety of items including waste and recycling containers, and waste vehicle equipment.


• Designing and fabricating equipment and parts.


• Maintaining routine inventory supplies that are used for operating the welding unit via inspection of stocks and ordering fresh stock when required.


• Read and interpret project plans and other written instructions or diagrams to perform assigned tasks.


• Comply with all Safety Requirements to maintain safe work area for you and your co-workers.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent


• 2 years welding and fabrication experience or a 2-year welding diploma or degree program from a community college or technical program or work experience directly related to welding or steel fabrication preferred


• Fabrication experience a plus


• Ability to work independently


• Strong organizational skill


• Mechanical aptitude


• Knowledge of industry safety practices


• Must be 18 years of age or older.
